Calvin Bellas

Calvin Bellas is a New York City–based colorist. With a cinematic approach rooted in story, mood, and emotion, he collaborates closely with directors and cinematographers to craft images that feel intentional, immersive, and unforgettable.

His passion for color began while studying cinematography at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Understanding the creative intent behind the camera informs every grade, allowing him to bridge the gap between production and post with both technical precision and artistic sensitivity.

Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Calvin draws lasting inspiration from the vibrancy, texture, and spirit of Caribbean culture. Whether shaping bold commercial imagery or nuanced cinematic narratives, he brings that perspective into his work with the goal of creating visuals that resonate emotionally, celebrate authentic stories, and leave a lasting impression.
